1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VizTools ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors and users, whether or not they have created an account.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy , which explains how we handle your data.

2. The Service

VizTools is a collection of free professional productivity tools designed for product managers, freelancers, and teams. The Service includes tools such as the Meeting Cost Calculator, PRD One-Pager Generator, RICE Prioritisation Matrix, Freelance Rate Calculator, and UTM Campaign Link Builder, with more planned.

The Service has two categories of tools:

• →Instant tools — calculators and converters that run entirely in your browser. No account required. Your inputs never leave your device.
• →Builder tools — structured document and output generators. No account required to use them, but an account is required to save your outputs to your dashboard and access them across devices.

3. Your Content

You retain full ownership of everything you create using VizTools — including any documents, data, or outputs you generate or save ("Your Content"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Content.

By saving Your Content to VizTools, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence solely to store and retrieve Your Content for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This licence does not extend to sharing, publishing, analysing, or commercialising Your Content in any way.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit or generate through the Service does not infringe on the rights of third parties.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service using automated means.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Use the Service to transmit any malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Attempt to bypass any rate limiting, access controls, or security measures in place.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user we determine to be in violation of these terms, without prior notice.

5. Free Tier & Future Pricing

VizTools is currently provided entirely free of charge. All tools, including save-to-dashboard functionality, are available at no cost.

We reserve the right to introduce a paid tier or premium features in the future. If we do, we will give advance notice — at least 30 days — via the website and, where possible, by email to registered users. Any existing features that are currently free will remain free or be grandfathered appropriately. We will never introduce a paid tier without clear communication first.

6. No Guarantees

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

In particular, the calculations and estimates produced by VizTools tools — including but not limited to salary estimates, freelance rate calculations, and meeting cost calculations — are provided for informational purposes only. They are based on generalised assumptions and are not a substitute for professional financial, legal, or business advice. Do not rely solely on VizTools outputs when making significant financial or business decisions.

We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any output generated by any tool on the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VizTools and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, as VizTools is currently free, is zero).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice — for example, by posting a notice on the website or (for registered users) sending an email.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
